recently did a call where everyone participating had a traditional 9-to-5-like job.
They finally started to open up about their collective biggest concern ā they were all worried about their financial future and to be frank, they should be! They wanted to know the fastest way to financial freedom.
I said to them, āListen, the biggest mistake most people make is equating rich with free.ā
Everybody Iāve ever talked to wants to be financially free. Iāve never talked to anybody that doesnāt want that.
But what you must understand is this one major misconception:Ā
If you set your sights on becoming rich, it is not necessarily true that youāll become financially free. Theyāre not the same thing.
Watch this video ā a peek into my free web class ā to learn why:
You Donāt Need To Be Rich To Be Free
A lot of people say,Ā āWell, Iām going to do what I need to do to be rich, and then I can become financially free.ā
Well, when we talk about wanting to be rich, what are we really talking about ā moneyĀ or freedom?Ā Thereās a pretty big difference between the two, right?
You see, to be rich you probably need to be in the multi-millions. And believe it or not, there are a lot of rich people who arenāt free.
They have to work their asses off to keep their wealth because they didnāt set it up properly ā that is, they didnātĀ systemizeĀ their businesses to run without them needing to be there. They didnāt learn orĀ model from others who have succeeded before them.Ā
So does being rich absolutely mean having more freedom, or security, or even peace of mind?
Not necessarily.
