Alright, let's move onto the list of my three favorite time-saving blogging tools.
1. GrowthBar
GrowthBar is a Google Chrome extension that enables you to cover all your SEO needs right from the Google search engine results page (SERP). They show you millions of keyword results, your competition’s backlinks, Google Ads data, and other metrics:
GrowthBar is a good tool for bloggers that want to do keyword research and get keyword ideas right from Google. I personally know the founders of GrowthBar and know how passionate they are about making this tool as helpful as possible.
2. Wordable
Wordable is a WordPress plugin that lets you import your Google Docs into WordPress. Since I get a lot of first drafts written by content writers (in Google Docs), this tool lets me simply upload the .docx file into WordPress and pulls in all formatting, links, and images.
Then, all that I have to do is create a featured image, update the content as I see fit, and hit publish. Wordable has easily saved me hundreds of hours of time.
Before I started using them, I tried all kinds of (bad) ways to get content from a document file into WordPress - copying and pasting everything (ruins HTML formatting), exporting to HTML (doesn't add your images), etc.
I personally know the co-founder Jeremy and he's obsessed with making this tool as helpful as possible for WordPress bloggers.
3. Grammarly
Grammarly is my favorite grammar checker and greatly improves my writing. I use their WordPress extension so that I can see all of the typos and errors I need to fix right inside of WordPress - and can fix them automatically with one click. They also highlight your writing style/tone - whether it's confident, friendly, etc. - so you can write in a certain style for your audience.
According to Grammarly, I've checked over 9.7 million words since I started using it in December 2019:
Correct grammar should be a part of your SEO strategy. Search engines are getting smarter and can scan your content for readability and grammatical correctness. Grammarly puts this on auto-pilot, and also helps you become a better writer by calling out your common mistakes.
That's it for my three favorite new blogging tools.
