5 top tips for recording videos

Video influences so much of our lives these days. Even in our marketing businesses, text and image ads are becoming passe and old school as video ads take over. As an affiliate or Internet marketer, integrating video into your own funnels and campaigns is a must to elevate and grow your business ==================== Would you like a framework that shortcuts right past all the BS towards online profits? How much would that be worth to you? How much faster would your business grow? How much MONEY would you save? Better yet, how much money would you MAKE? ==> CLICK HERE FOR ALL THE DETAILS NOW ==================== So, you’ve decided to record some video of yourself? Maybe you’re making a bridge page for your affiliate marketing funnels, or you want to create some video ads, or perhaps you’re vlogging or live streaming… There’s some simple things you can do to make sure your videos look good and properly relay the message you want out there. With that, here’s 5 of my top tips to help you record high quality videos right now, even on a budget: #1: Get into a quiet spot: Shooting outside or at a scenic location might seem like a cool idea, but you need to keep external noises in mind.  Unless you have a ultra high quality mic that filters out sounds or you are a pro video editor, you may end up with some serious background noises that distract your viewers. To keep things simple, record your videos in a quiet spot where you can be certain no extraneous noise will find its way to your recordings. #2: Get the lighting right: I can’t tell you how many times I have watched a video of someone who recorded in a low light situation that makes it almost impossible to see what’s on the video.  When you record your own videos, do 1 of 2 things - either film yourself during the day with shades up in a room with tons of natural light, or spend money to get a lighting kit and then make sure that you have tons of lighting {BEHIND YOU BUT OFF CAMERA} when you record. #3: Use a good camera: If you’re using a webcam… STOP.  Webcams typically don’t put out good video or audio and you’re just wasting your time by spitting out low quality footage.  Either invest in a decent digital camera or Go Pro or just use your mobile device.  While you can buy a camera that spits out high def footage for a reasonable investment, if you don’t want to spend anything, chances are that your mobile device camera is more than adequate to do the job. #4: Learn how to place your script: Whether you’re using a teleprompter app on an iPad or something or you’re using a written script, proper placement is the difference between looking like you are obviously reading OR like you’re just naturally communicating with the audience.  Generally speaking, if you place your teleprompter or script directly over your camera, your eye placement will look like you’re talking directly to the camera.  Place your script left or right of the camera and your frequent glances off screen will be obvious. #6: TEST FIRST: Don’t record your full video and then watch it only to find errors, mistakes, and problems with lighting, audio, or something else.  Do a quick 20 second recording of your script and then stop and watch.  Does everything look right?  If so, then great, get back, start over and make it happen.  If not, then fix your issue and then go back and test again until you are sure that you can do the full recording without any problems.  This will save you so much time and energy! These simple tricks will become secondhand nature when you start recording on a regular basis and they’re the key to you putting out high quality engaging video, even on a budget. Put them to work for you and your business right now to help give you and edge over your competition and build a rapport with your audience today.
