Happy Monday Vaynernation!
As I come back from vacation I have an amazing feeling of conviction, I have spent 3 years studying why I felt the “cards” market was changing from the way I viewed it all my life. After this week of rest and thinking and reading and thinking, I have more conviction than I did 3 years ago that “cards” especially the top 5% of vintage and rare will go through a massive transformation similar to the contemporary art seen of the last half century. I know so many of you have educated yourselves over the last 18 months but rest assure for the rest of you, there’s a lot more ahead and you aren’t too late. There’s a ton to learn and risk like any investment but the joy I’ve had around this investment is so remarkable and I feel as confident in it as I did in betting my professions life on social media back in 2005... I spent time learning and went all in back in 2006-2009 and this feels the same, I am excited about what’s ahead, there will be dips but the macro opportunity is clear.
