Here's why you NEED to share good news

Too many leaders let resentment, anger, disappointment, and frustration ruin their relationships. If a drop of these feelings is added to your “bucket” every time a partner does something to trigger you--eventually your bucket will overflow. You will loose your cool and it will lead to a contentious conversation which makes your relationship vulnerable. I posted a video about this on Instagram that may help you understand what I mean.

Now some people (like me) have huge buckets and you have to be careful because people don’t realize they are adding to your bucket. Therefore, you must use candor in order to avoid surprising them with your feelings.

Others have tiny buckets and they are always flying off the handle...they must learn why they are so triggered and deal with those insecurities.

Rest assure, your understanding of your bucket and how you manage the bucket and the water that fills it will be a huge variable in your happiness and success.

On the other side, I realized 4 or 6 years ago that a lot of positive and happy people wouldn’t jump in to comments or make content as consistently as the cynical, hurt, and sad people. I promised myself that I would do more to deploy a positive and practical perspective since I was so fortunate to have it. I’ve been on that mission, but I’m just one speck in the universe.

I ask you to please share your optimism and happiness if it’s in your soul. Check out this video to hear more of my thoughts on this.

Another episode of Overrated / Underrated is up on Instagram, right now! Check out the video, and let me know what you thought of the VaynerMedia Super Bowl Ad on Twitter.

Slow down the macro (You've got time in life) Speed up the micro (Get more done daily) This is what most have reversed.
