Do you realize that you can save, or at the very least positively impact, someone else’s life? Not just one or two, but thousands or even millions. Although just one would make it all worth it. There’s a story inside the book “You2” by Price Pritchett that you may be familiar with. It’s known as the “Fly Story”. The gist of the story is this: There is a fly who is fighting for its life in a hotel room. It keeps trying harder and harder, flying up against a closed window in a feeble attempt to escape; not realizing that a door is open across the room and it could fly away to freedom with ease. This story is a metaphor that we can all relate to: Often we keep trying harder and harder, but all it does is wear us out and get us nowhere! We’re so focused on the one strategy, that we don’t realize freedom is right there in a slightly different direction. I absolutely love this idea. However, I have found myself asking the following question: What if there’s no open door? Just a few minutes ago, there was a fly scurrying around my office here at home, trying to get out. However, the windows were closed and so was the door. I opened the door and showed it the way out. I realized I had the power to set the little guy free. And that’s another metaphor. :-) You can be the one who sets others free, by helping to open the doors and the windows and show them that they’re open, ready for them to cross the threshold. It is still their responsibility to cross — you cannot do that for them — but you can show them the way. You could save many lives, or at the very least improve them. I’d love to open doors and windows and show you how to take quantum leaps. And then you can pass on what you learn and experience to others. Everybody wins. :-) https://go.peggymccoll.com/manifestmybestseller-ebook?affiliate_id=1633079
