Pumpkin muffins, Mongolian beef, granola and more...

Here are my 5 things for you this week!

1. Pumpkin Muffins with Chocolate Chips is my very favorite pumpkin recipe to make during the fall. I hope you enjoy them as much as we do!


2. Mongolian beef is an easy weeknight dinner that’s much more nutritious than take-out!


3. The FDA finally admitted that mercury amalgams are dangerous and pose risks to pregnant women, young children and people with diseases such as Alzheimer's. Now, the FDA just needs to admit mercury amalgams are dangerous for everyone.


4. Food cravings often communicate some kind of deficiency our bodies are experiencing. For example, if you’re craving chocolate, that’s usually a sign you need some magnesium. I have a helpful chart here to help you figure out what your cravings might mean.


5. My sweet friend, Molly Chester, from Apricot Lane Farms has a fabulous grain-free granola recipe! I've eaten at her table many times, and she is a wonderful cook. I recommend checking out the other recipes on her site!
